Two Retina MacBook Pros produced in September 2012 have been tested for screen brightness and white uniformity. Screens were calibrated at the centers to white point target D65 (6500K), gamma 2.2 and 200 nits with X-Rite GretagMacbeth i1 Display LT Rev. A using i1 Profiler D2 Lion Edition 1.01 software. Brightness level was set to maximum for measurements. Both screens use Samsung panels.
