First two images are an exercise in dealing with underexposed photos. During post-processing exposure correction brings noise and emphasizes muted colors. To overcome the problem of insufficient image quality one can intentionally distort images further or convert them to black & white. I’ve added lens flare and almost transparent swashes of color in one case and painted with different brushes on black & white image in another.
